Inclusive Sport Conference 2021
The inaugural Inclusive Sport Conference 2021 (ISC 2021) will take place from 16 to 18 March. The Conference is a signature platform where stakeholders from the disability sports ecosystem come together to share knowledge and promote inclusive practices as part of the Disability Sports Master Plan (DSMP).
ISC 2021 will be focusing on how Singapore can foster greater inclusivity with key stakeholders to build a collaborative ecosystem through partnerships as we forge forward together towards a more inclusive society through sports. Host
Sport Singapore is a statutory board of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. Sport Singapore’s core purpose is to inspire the Singapore spirit and transform Singapore through sport. Through innovative, fun and meaningful sporting experiences, our mission is to reach out and serve communities across Singapore with passion and pride. With Vision 2030 – Singapore’s sports master plan, our mandate goes beyond winning medals. Sport Singapore uses sport to create greater sporting opportunities and access, more inclusivity and integration as well as broader development of capabilities.
Co-Hosts
Special Olympics Singapore is an organization that serves athletes with intellectual disabilities working with hundreds of thousands of volunteers and coaches each year. The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Singapore Disability Sports Council is the national sports body for Persons with Disabilities, founded in 1973. It aims to transform the lives of PWDs through sport as a form of rehabilitative therapy and means to realise their potential. Besides providing platforms for learning sport, Singapore Disability Sports Council trains talents to represent Singapore at regional and international competitions. The mission is to build a vibrant and inclusive community where PWDs can pursue their sporting aspirations.

ISC 2021 will take place during the March 2021 school holidays:
- 16 to 18 March (Tues - Thurs)
- 9am to 5pm daily
Venue
ISC 2021 is conducted online via Zoom.
Conference Fees
ISC 2021 is FREE for all to attend.
CCE Hours
NROC Coaches can claim up to 10 CCE hours from attending ISC 2021. Do note the following:
- Up to 5 CCE hours can be claimed for 1 full-day attendance at ISC 2021
- Up to 2.5 CCE hours can be claimed for 0.5 day attendance at ISC 2021
